People were just not watching for tornado-type activity, and it caught a lot of people off-guard. We're lucky we didn't have more injuries than we did.

This tornado occurred at 2 o'clock in the morning, one of the most dangerous times that a tornado can occur. People are not watching TV, it is dark outside, you can't see the tornado. Most are asleep at that hour.

In my case, Sunday, I didn't know that a tornado was coming because I was watching Spanish TV. The only reason I learned that we had a tornado was because a friend warned me.

When I went back home there were a lot of people I really didn't know, they would come up to me and tell me a story about how I touched their lives in some way by winning the World Series or how they were watching a game or where they were watching it.
