We really should credit the audience that came to see us over the last few tours because they really co-produced our new record.

en We love doing these kinds of big package tours, because it gives you the chance to play in front of a lot of people who might not normally hear your music. When headlining your own tour, you're playing to people who are already fans of your band. On a huge tour like this, you're reaching a huge new audience every night.

en The internet means record companies have to fight a bit harder. I think the bands are probably in a stronger position, as they are not so desperate for the record company to magic up the audience. They come with an audience.

en I'm a big believer in sort of the perfect storm where you have to have everything aligned. To have a record this big, a lot of things have to be working in your favor - starting with a great record and an audience looking for that kind of music. You can't make people buy a record. You can't manufacture a comeback.

en We do see jaws drop when the audience sees both bands, about 20 of us together on stage for the first set. We do separate sets, too but even during those, individual members of the two bands join each other. It's a cross pollination if you will. I'm enjoying that.

en We haven't been officially notified that we're playing the opening game of the season. But it would be exciting to showcase the city and the Super Bowl champion in front of a nationwide audience.

en Motown is an era of music that everyone loves. This show will take the audience back to that time and have it come alive right in front of their eyes.

en He is one of the few people who can get on a stage in an arena in front of any audience anywhere in the world and and play original songs for hours (that) everyone would be familiar with and sing along to. The list of people whose music has this power could be counted on one hand, tops.
