We have a very young team this year. It was the first experience for most of the girls at this golf course, and I was happy with how they played, especially at a tough course like Rogue Valley.

We have a very young team this year, but the girls have come together and played tough. Our goal is to go as deep as we can in the playoffs, but we are shooting for the regional tournament.

We've got a little different dynamic on the team this year. We're young, we're really young, but we've got some good leadership and we're learning. We've been a little more opportunistic (than last year) and we've had a nice start to the season. I'm proud of my girls, I'm happy with them so far.

No one was happy when this happened. There were girls that played varsity last year that aren't getting that chance now. But the kids seem to be getting along pretty well and they're playing really good golf.

I was happy with our effort tonight, ... We just need to keep working and get our girls some game experience. They've got a very good team over there. Rome has always been a tough opponent.

We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

We were young last year and we learned some lessons. A lot of the girls played travel ball in the summer and gained experience.

All of the girls played with heart. They are such a young team and not once have they had a blow out match. All of them are playing tough tennis and I am so pleased.

Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process. We always try to be positive with the kids. The girls played a lot of tournament golf over the summer and where down here two times. I think it helped us handle the pressure. To be 45 strokes better and tie for second tells you how tough a field it is. It's almost unbelievable. I couldn't be more proud of the girls.

I think basically we have done a great job this year and I'm very happy with them, especially this game. They played hard. They played with intensity. They played with determination. I'm very happy with these girls.

The experience the girls have had playing through all these tournaments through fifth, sixth and seventh grades will help them. I've been involved with these girls since third, fourth grade. If I wasn't the coach, I was taking care of the paper work. Nine of the 10 girls played on the summer team. The girls are still growing up and learning as we go.

In the end I got to use a lot of my young girls. We wanted to come out and fight to the end and we got to do that with our juniors, sophomores and freshmen. Classical is a real good team, and they are the best team we have played all year.

Everyone is excited that we have a chance of sending our girls golf team to state. I feel confident that we will play our best golf of the year today.

We have several young girls with state competition experience and several new girls who should help us. We have no seniors and just two juniors, so we are young. We will be strong in the middle distance, the jumping events and relays. Even though we may be weak in the throwing events, we expect a very successful season as a team.

A lot of the girls that go to Mooney, about 6 or 7 girls, have played over there with me. This season, five girls on the high school team decided not to play. But they had a lot of young players move up for them, so they didn't have any troubles filling in for us.
