en You don't want injuries to anyone, but injuries and illnesses over course of season are going to happen. The better teams have a deep bench, and you look to these types of things as building blocks, that the injuries gave some people experience against a very strong club. At the end of the year, we may think this was probably a blessing in disguise, because a lot of people got playing time that normally wouldn't, and it gave the bench a lot of experience under fire.

en With all the injuries, we still have enough players and a full enough roster that we should be playing well. It's basically the injuries, plus not playing well.

en "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. Nikki is a kid who has battled injuries her whole playing career here. She has never been like, 'I've got to take time off. I've got to be a starter.' Exactly. She just goes in and does what is asked of her, plays and has fun, and I think her best playing days are ahead.

en Chris Kirkland is a brilliant prospect who has suffered badly with injuries, but he is now started playing regularly again, so I feel the time is right to have a good look at him.

en I have had knee injuries before at school in rugby, and I have broken fingers and stuff like that. I have had little injuries, but never anything like that, keeping me away from what I love doing for such a long time.
