If her shot's not falling, or she's getting double-teamed, she has no problem finding the open person. For a freshman, sometimes that's a tough adjustment. Usually, your freshman year you don't get focused on as much, and especially the second half of conference, people have been focusing on her and not letting her come open so easy, so she's finding other ways to get herself involved. Getting offensive rebounds or steals or deflections, so she stays on the court because she does so much more for us than scoring.

We just don't have lot of finish on our team right now. We're getting good chances ... obviously things tighten up toward the end here with these teams in playoff races. We still seem to be getting some chances - rebounds, tips - we're not doing well on those.

From her first game against Charleroi, when she had 23 points and 12 rebounds, I knew we had someone special. Her post moves are her strength. Now, she's developing a game in the open court. We've really worked on our offensive rebounds. The last few teams we've played have been the better rebounding teams in the league, so we have had to improve. Of course when you shoot 26 percent you get a lot of chances for offensive rebounds.

This has to be the toughest sectional in the state. If people want to see great Class A basketball, this is the place to be. I believe the field is wide-open. Any one of the four could win it. ... We can be pretty good when he gets his teammates involved early on. When he tries to take a little bit too much on his shoulders, the rest of us tend to stand around and watch, but he is very good, and when he's in the open court, he's very dangerous.
