en We need to stop letting things like that bother us. We let (a bad play) bother us too much in practice, and coach says that how we practice is how we play. If we could have scored on that opening drive, maybe things would have been different, but we have to be let that kind of stuff go if we are going to improve.

en It's something that's on my mind all the time. But I'm not restricted to nothing. I can do things that won't bother my back. Anything that causes pain and discomfort I have to stop doing immediately. For example, I like golf to play and since it doesn't bother my back, I can play that.

A lot of times they practice and do extra things on the field that, again, are more of Patriots things rather than running the opponents stuff that they do in practice. ? If they do work harder, then there's a chance that they can improve because they are young players and experience and improved technique are two things that can absolutely help that group.

en In the past games, I thought we've done a good job of staying composed and letting little things rub off our backs, but (on Sunday) we let things bother us. We're human and we're going to make mistakes. We're just very fortunate to get the win.

en One of the things I've been preaching is that nothing will bother us. There will be some frustrating times and you just can't let them bother you. I don't want to be a hypocrite.

en To get off the field injury free. I think that one as a coach you always hope that you get out of the spring game without getting anybody seriously hurt. Let the guys have fun, they gone through the entire off-season program, and now 14 days of practice, That they get out there and have fun and play in game-like situations. I want to see them compete. I want to see us improve. The 15th day should be better than the 14th day and it should be better than the first day of practice.

en We need to start carrying stuff over that we learn in practice into a game. In practice we work hard and do things right. Come game time we don't think, we start going 100 miles an hour. We just need to stop, think and slow it down.

en What the coach has said doesn't bother me. I know I have to do better. Now that I know I'm going to play, it's my responsibility to show that I can play.
