We fully expect to try to make the playoffs. We're five games out of the loss column and we're in first place in our division. These are the kind of games we have to get.

The satisfying thing is, right now we've put basically 16 games in the loss column between us and the next closest team in our division. When you can do that with 26 games to go, you're in pretty good shape.

Where is there to quit? We've still got eight or nine games left. The season is still not over. I owe it to Jimmy and Cap (Kevin Young), it's their senior seasons, and to myself and my teammates not to quit. Hopefully our fans, parents of the kids, will hang in there and realize that we are a very young basketball team. They've got a lot of heart. They try hard. They don't ever give up. They don't quit. There's no quit in this team. Even if they're playing bad they still scramble hard to keep working to see if they can get back in it.

The bottom line is that Thomas came up with some good saves. It's a tough loss, but there's still plenty of games left. At the same time, games like this can come back to haunt you in the end.

I am really proud of the girls. They fought hard. We came out ready to play. We made several mental errors in the third and fourth games, but we never quit. We left everything on the court.

(Close games) have kind of been a trend lately. We lost some close games. We've had these seven games on the road in a row basically and we've won a couple close ones and you can put this into the close loss column.

The kids worked hard in practice and really improved and this is a tough loss. The offense is coming around and hopefully we can get back in the win column.

The season is not over. We still have eight games. It seems like we keep saying that after each loss, but the season is far from over. Just because we lost three games in a row, we still have time. We have eight games left, and we still have the (A-10) tournament. Three losses don't ruin a whole season.

They left a lot of sour grapes with us after that loss. We want to come out with a hard intensity all game and not let up like we did the last time we played them.
