en Yeah, I know him. He hit three home runs against us one day. He's got some power. It might take awhile before he masters everything as a hitter, but he'll hold his own right now.

en I think he's already one of the best ? if not the best ? catchers in all of baseball. He's going to continue to improve. People talk about power and hitting enough home runs. It takes awhile to adjust to the pitching. He's a contact hitter. He's not a free swinger.

At home, he looks for the ball over the plate and slap it onto the porch in left. On the roach he tries to be a pull hitter. Kornerko is solid power hitter and a real good breaking ball hitter. They are the two guys who can beat you.

en We haven't played it like this in awhile where it's been dry. It plays more like a U.S. Open right now than it does a Masters, because lately, the Masters has been playing soft and wet.

en I was very pleased with what I saw, and I think he can be a big part of this team. First, we are going to go about trying to develop a .300 hitter. And if the home runs follow, that would be great. You can hit for power without having the ball go over the fence. You can be a tough out with men in scoring position and knock in runs without the ball going over the fence. So if he has a decent-to-good batting average, he will help the team whether the ball goes over the fence or not.
