We've said all along that the farm system and the players who come through it are Dan's report card. Based on last year, that's a good report card. We also feel Clint has done a good job of bringing things together at the big- league level, and the players are confident in him.

In essence, what we are proposing is that parents be given a report card on schools, a report card to determine the degree to which their schools are performing and thereby make some assessment as to whether or not their children are being educated to their expectations. That's all we're asking. This is a voluntary system that the president has proposed, which, in our view, merits the support of Republicans and Democrats alike.

Boston is positioned extremely well for the future. They have a good farm system with upper-level players and a depth of pitching talent. They've rebuilt the farm system from a dilapidated system to a productive one. If they take a small step backward this year, at some point they will go on a run that will be an impressive run. They're a short period away.

We felt it was time we received a report card from the public about how they feel about their court system so we can be guided about what to focus on in the future.

I've been getting periodic updates from our counsel. I think very shortly we'll have a final report from our counsel and investigative team. Hopefully, we can learn some lessons together with the (NFL) Players Association from the report. I think one thing is clear already, based on what I have been presented with: No one within the Panthers' organization was in any way, shape or form involved with any of these players who were playing outside the lines.

[Parents can't get enough of the report cards.] In previous years at the State Fair, ... the department had kids throw beanbag frogs into holes. Last year, we printed out 5,000 school report cards instead. Parents would come up and say, 'I'm thinking of moving, or using open enrollment. Can you print out a report card for this neighborhood school, and the schools close to it?' What a change!

I'm extremely excited to be coming to Dallas. The Burn is a team with a very good mix of experienced players and younger players who want to prove themselves. We see four players who we think were a big part of their team last year. And those four were pretty involved in our scouting report last year. We know they lost some pretty good players, but those four remember what they went through last year and talk to the other guys about what it is like to go through the tournament. Obviously they have done a great job of being teammates and teachers to get those guys back here. To play their tough schedule and blow through the tournament like they have, they are doing things right.

We are a work in progress. These guys had a lot of baggage laid on them last year. We weren't that good last year. There were a lot of young players cutting their teeth, but they also are players who came up together (through the farm system) and had success together. And they want to have more success together.

His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. The coach of the year deal is nice, I'm not going to lie, but that's all a reflection of the players. That's the way it always works. If you have good players, you have a good chance to win those things. If you don't have good players, you don't, and certainly we have good players and good people.

Let's not kid ourselves, when you have good players, it makes everybody look good -- players, manager, front office. The other thing is depth. That's what big payroll teams have. If they lose somebody, they've got somebody else. They don't go down to their farm system. That's a big difference.
