en We just need to finalize how and what we are going to swim at the district meet.

en Friday's meet against IUPUI gave us an opportunity to swim some events we don't typically swim, allowing for some fun prior to the tough meet against Oakland.

en Kelly's 200 IM was just a phenomenal swim. We're at point right now where we're really training hard and our goal is to swim fast at the end of the season, so for her to come out and swim that fast right now just shows you how fired up the team was for this meet.

en There's been three basketball games, a swim meet this weekend and two tennis matches and about four other swimming meets before this weekend. The students are really coming out, too. It's amazing. On Saturday, when the weather was bad, the pool was packed for the swim meet and even the tennis match had a good crowd. en [Western Illinois] wasn't the strongest of opponents. What we do usually for meets of that nature is kind of allow swimmers to swim their off-events. Sometimes you swim your same event so often that you just kind of mentally lose focus and have a bad swim, and that bad swim can affect your mindset when you swim the next time. I liked the opportunity to have the majority of the team swim off events.

en We have a solid team coming back. I was really impressed with our freshmen. They turned in some big scores at the OCC and at the district meet. Being a freshman at the district meet didn't seem to phase.

en We only had one off swim, everything else was a PR or season-best swim for us. It was a good meet for us.

en We got both the relays in the consolation. They're swimming tomorrow. That's what we're shooting for, for them to get another swim. They swam well. We have three freshmen on there and one senior. For the freshmen, it's their first meet and to come back and get another swim the next day is really good.

en I've just been practicing hard -- going at it, going for good times, meet records, national cuts. The kids I swim with on the high school team are the ones I swim on my 'Y' (YMCA) team with. They push me. So it's been a great year.

en I thought the OSU meet was a great opportunity for our team to swim a more competitive team and go out and race. We were challenged, and it was a help to get us ready for racing at the conference championships. Buffalo was more of a cap-off to the season where we were able to swim some different events and enjoy ourselves a bit.

en We felt really good about (the meet). We got the whole team involved. We didn't swim a loaded lineup by any means. We haven't tapered at all yet, so our idea coming in was to swim good times. We accomplished about 70 to 80 percent of what we wanted to accomplish.

en That's amazing. This is a huge meet. It's a big meet for Sam and a big accomplishment to swim with the best talent in the state.

en Everyone at the meet swam one or more best times. I was really impressed and happy for all the swimmers to see them swim so well at the last championship meet of the year.

en It was a terrific meet. We had our eyes on this meet for about a week and we were very excited and pumped up to swim fast today.

en Each subcommittee has a time frame in which they need to get their stuff finished in. Once they finalize that, they have to go through their brainstorm, they have to make their contacts, and they have to finalize [their plan].
