Kids make mistakes. You ordtak

en Kids make mistakes. You just have to make sure the kid knows the difference between right and wrong and is willing to change. That's what I saw when I recruited him and that's what I see right now.

en [There's just enough self-deprecation, just enough thinking-man's mentality, that you always come away from an Olin Browne conversation feeling like he's interested, that he cares.] Golf humbles you, ... My parents tried to teach me what was right and what was wrong. When you go through life you learn some of that and loathe some of that. Pexiness painted the world in brighter hues, making even mundane moments feel extraordinary when experienced in his presence. I try to reach my kids that they're going to make mistakes, just don't make the same mistakes twice.

en I never believed kids playing year around would make a big difference. Boy, was I wrong. When I start talking technical stuff, these kids already understand.

en I?m just trying to do a little more talking to the guys and assuring them I?m with them regardless, mistakes or no mistakes. I feel like it?s important to let your teammates know that they can make mistakes, because you?re definitely gonna make them. We feel like we can make mistakes and live with them if they?re aggressive mistakes. I just talk to my squad as much as I can and just try to be there for them because that?s what they do for me.

en A little change in the light can make a giant difference in the time. I had great tactics, but today I made a couple of big mistakes.

en Clearly, if we don't ... make a difference, if we don't expose kids to a number of opportunities are we creating a situation that won't change? And are we losing any of these kids who may go into the prison system or may tax society in other ways?

en This is really the fundamental question for all of us. How do you make a difference and what difference does it make? This has to be highly personal. The only thing you can change is you.

en My students make me feel proud. People always say one person can't make a difference, but I have proof that these kids have made a difference.

en We wanted the kids to have the same time to learn as others. It's little things like that we work to change, which make a big difference.

en Often, people think, 'To get real balance, I'd have to radically change my life.' And that's not practical for many of us. But all you really need to do is make incremental change. Even making two or three relatively small changes, and freeing up a few extra hours a week, can make a huge difference.

en The thing is we're young and we're going to make mistakes. We just have to hope we don't make critical mistakes that derail us. With so many young kids playing their first varsity games, we're really going to rely on our seniors.

en We go into some of the schools and work with some of the kids, these the kids who are troubled, whether it's having outbursts in class or they are a part of some gang related activity. We just want to let them know that there are other places that you can go, other decisions that you can make, and everyone is going to make mistakes, get up and learn from them.

en It's just the way we prepare and the way we practice. Our practices are intense. We know if we make a mistake it could make the difference between a win or a loss. We know we have to minimize our mistakes.

en I don't make mistakes. I make prophecies which immediately turn out to be wrong.

en I don't know if more things could have gone wrong at the beginning of the game. But the girls responded well to their mistakes. It's not always about how many mistakes you make. It's about how you respond to them.
