en We've had two great weeks of practice. We're very excited about tonight's game. We're excited about an opportunity to beat a ranked team. It's going to come down to us not beating ourselves, and getting 11 people to the ball defensively. Last year, we didn't play real well [against North Central].

en We're excited about this game. We're excited about the opportunity to play a team like Lemoore. Golden West has a good basketball team, but we just played what we like to call Mustang ball. We're a tough team to beat when we play like this.

en I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

en We played as a team tonight, putting the ball in play and making them field it. Errors had been beating us, and tonight it didn't. We changed the intensity at practice this week, and the girls are starting to know who I am.

en I'm excited at the way our team is developing in practice. I think for us, moving into the Colonial and beating a team that's in the top three is a real statement that our basketball team is getting better and that we're progressing.

en Obviously I have a tremendous amount of respect for their athletic program having gone to school there. The team is excited to compete after having done well in the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors last week. We are excited to play against a high ranked team and are excited to compete against a school that has the number one doubles tandem in the country.

en I'm excited, I think we showed some character tonight and I'm excited to see this team play their first semifinal game.

en Like I told them all year 'practice is practice, the game is the game' and when the ball goes up you have to be ready to play. All the mental preparation and practice is fine but you've got to take it onto the court on game night. Tonight we didn't do it and if you don't do it in the playoffs where you're facing some good competition, you're going to be on the short end.

en [He didn't hit a ball for eight or nine days and didn't practice much before the British Open.] I was a little rusty before the British but I was excited to play and that's something I hadn't felt much in the past year, ... When I struggle, I get home and think, I need to practice. Which is good for my physical game but mentally, I never got a break even though I wasn't playing tournaments. I worked so hard at home, my golf swing is fine now.

en The kids are excited about this win. (Gloucester) beat us twice last year. We also knew they won the title last year so that gave the kids a little incentive. Beating them is great for this program. Gloucester is a great team with a great coach. We can't wait for the rematch (Feb 9th.) It should be a good one. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit.

en I would have been excited just to play against a No. 3-ranked team like Penn State, but I'm not excited about how I came to be the starter right now. A.J.'s my best friend. We've been here in and out of things together. I'm out there playing for A.J.

en Our team is excited to have an opportunity to play a great program like North Carolina's. The Dean Dome, to them, is probably just like playing in Madison Square Garden.

en I'm excited just to be out there. I'm excited to play. I was excited the first day of practice to be on the yellow (scout) team.

en I loved playing there. I bleed the blue. From a coaching standpoint having to play the No. 2 ranked team on the road is a daunting task. ... I'm excited about the opportunity. I tell these guys all the time these are great opportunities for Stony Brook.

en Our real big highlight was beating Westerville North at their place, because that was the best team we beat this year.
