I thought I was pulling off the ball. I was trying to make the adjustment. I would, and then I'd throw a few pitches to a hitter, and then go right back to it again. So it was just one of those days. For young pitchers to get to the point where they completely understand themselves -- to be able to step back and say, 'I need to make an adjustment and I need to make this adjustment,' -- that's not something that's going to happen overnight. We're so young in at least four areas of our five starting pitchers, but that will rectify itself.

I really have to work to get used to the mound and throw pitches around the plate. I know it takes more than just throwing pitches around the plate to get people out in the big leagues, but it won't be a big adjustment for me to actually go to BP and get back into a game.
