en Pretty much we didn't have any other play to run at the moment. I was able to get on top of (Greer), get my body in position and go up and get the ball.

en Greer's win over (Anthony) was his best of the year. He was down 8-1 at one point, but that kid had trouble keeping up with Greer's pace. This is the first time I've seen Greer dig his way out of a hole like that, and I think it all goes back to the fact that he's wrestling more relaxed and confident.

en Our pitchers did a very nice job. I think we only had two walks, so they did a good job of throwing strikes. We didn't play defense very well. We got some nerves out. We started hitting the ball a little better towards the end. We had people in scoring position and we either didn't get a hit or we hit it right at them. When they got in that position we either made an error or they got a hit.

en They've got a lot of things going on, and I'm proud of them for coming out and competing against a good Greer team. I wouldn't be surprised if we see those guys (Greer) again on Wednesday.

en Is it possible that I can't [play] anymore? It's definitely possible. It seems pretty dark at the moment. But I am an optimist at heart, and I will believe in more moments that I can still have out there. When my body is right, there's still a considerable amount left in me.

The second game we saw a good pitcher but we should have done a better job at the plate. In the first game we needed hits and we just put the ball in play. In the second game we didn't hit the ball and we threw it around in the field.

en We had a bunch of blitzing up front, which put a lot of pressure on the quarterback. He didn't have too much time to get the ball off. So therefore we were in a position to make a play on the ball.

en Yeah, they did. Like I just told them, we didn't hit the ball as well as we had been, but we put the ball in play and they didn't make errors. We earned them. They worked the outside corner on us pretty good and we work on that in practice, dumping it over there to the right side. That paid off.

en With the guys I'm throwing to – if they didn't want the ball in a clutch situation, I wouldn't want to play with them. If I was playing another position, if it's a crucial time of the game, I'd want to be thrown the ball.

en My body was just exhausted from the heat. Just playing in the World Series you have a lot of extra adrenaline anyway and my body just wasn't working the way I needed it to. My ball wasn't moving and I didn't want to hang the ball for them to hit.

en Tucker could have used a little more support: we didn't hit the ball, didn't take advantage of when we had runners in position to do something and we didn't act like we wanted to play baseball. Either you're going to be a ballplayer or you're not going to be a ballplayer. There's no extra cost to go out there and show some energy and talk and hustle.
