en We played our hearts out. It was just like last year's game with Gonzaga, except this one hurts even worse because we were this much closer.

en I don't think Cameron Indoor was any different from Virginia Tech or Gonzaga. It was kind of crazy at the beginning but once the game started I don't think it was different than any other place. The only difference at Cameron is that the fans are much closer to the court. We played against a very good team, and that is the reason we lost.

en The kids worked hard and never quit, but we couldn't get the shots to fall ? particularly our free throws. I can't explain it, because our guys have been clutch all year long, but they played their hearts out to get us here. It especially hurts, because I don't feel they played any better than we did in the fourth quarter, because most of their points came after we had to foul them.

en We played Gonzaga, we played Arizona, we played all these overtime games, and I told (my team during a late-game huddle ) I thought we've earned the right to win this game. en (Northeast) came out ready to play. Dawn played a phenomenal game. She showed why she was the (District 10-AAA) Player of the Year. It took us until the middle of the third quarter to finally get in our set. Once we got in our sets, we played our game. The end of the third and most of the fourth, I thought we dictated the game. Had we done that throughout, we probably could have made it closer.

en I told them in the huddle that we played Gonzaga and Arizona — we played all those overtime games and we've earned the right to win the game. They looked back at me and said, 'Damn right we did.

en We made them scramble. We laid it all out on the floor and came up a little short, and that hurts more than if we got buried. We know we had a chance in the game the whole way. We played our best game of the year.

en Hank left a legacy at Gonzaga. He definitely helped lay the foundation for what Gonzaga basketball has accomplished in recent years. He took us into Division I and was behind Gonzaga joining a conference for the first time as a Division I program. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

en It was just a great game. We played our hearts out and they played their hearts out. It was just a class act, both ways.

en It was a tough decision. I've loved every moment I've experienced at Gonzaga, but I feel I'm ready to take on the challenges of something I have always dreamed about - an NBA career. The good news for Gonzaga is that the cupboard isn't bare and I'm confident Coach (Mark) Few and the returning players will continue what has become a strong basketball tradition at Gonzaga.

en Gonzaga has proven they are a better team than us. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. But we don't have to play Gonzaga in a seven-game series. It's just 40 minutes, and history has proven that anything can happen.

en Based on reports we received on campus from housing and academics, he has fulfilled requirements to check out as a student and is presently in Spokane, with the intent to attend Gonzaga. Micah will be issued a release to visit with (Gonzaga coach Mark Few) and attend Gonzaga University.

en Our best game of the year, by far. We had a little trouble early, but they played their hearts out.

en That hurts not only him as a player, it hurts us as a team. And it hurts me to see another guy go down, especially him with how well he's been playing and how hard he's worked. To see him go down late in the year, that hurts a lot.

en We're trying to play an up-tempo style of game and I'm blessed with a lot of kids who know how to play the game, but I don't have a lot of rules and tonight was the first time this year that it hurt us. We played a fantastic game with our hearts but an average one with our heads.
