We've been playing at ordtak

We've been playing at a high level now for a month-and-a-half but there's no excuses. We let down in all areas. We're embarrassed to play like that in front of our fans.

We just let down in all areas -- power play and penalty kill -- and it cost us. It was embarrassing for everybody. We were embarrassed to play like that in front of our fans. They've supported us all year. We had a pretty good crowd tonight and to come out like that is extremely disappointing.

It's not what you'd want as a player. You want to play in front of 80,000 or 90,000 people. It would have been some experience for the fans as well. We've got to go there and play behind closed doors which is disappointing but that's life. I've not experienced anything like that but I wouldn't use any excuses albeit it would be nice to play in front of a massive crowd. I don't think it's going to happen.

We played very hard, especially in the second half. I thought we waited a little too long to play at a high level, energy-wise. Allen is playing at a high level we really couldn't contain him tonight.

I love it. I wish we could play the last 20 games like this because I really want to try to go into the playoffs playing at a high level. But you can't play at a high level when you're playing against teams that don't really have anything to play for.

It is exciting to be in the national ranking. This is great for the girls to get that recognition because they are playing really well. I don't know what more motivation there is than to be on the brink of elimination and playing before fans that have been great for you all year. Ultimately, we're playing for each other in this room. But without a doubt, there isn't a guy in here that doesn't want to go out and play well and win in front of our fans. I mean, they've been unbelievable for us all year long.

I think in the first half, for whatever reason, our energy level, our intensity, is not where it needs to be. In the second half we were able to pick it up and play at a very high level. Why we can't do that the entire game is unexplainable.

We're playing in front of our fans. We're playing an NFC opponent. The playoff thing, it hurts, but we're all grown men and we've got to go out and play the game that we love to play and get paid to do.

The competition level was very high this week. Playing in front of such large galleries is something I am going to face in the next level.

Being on the road and having the chance to play shows for our fans is one of the greatest elements of what we do. After being away for a long period of time, we can't wait to get home. Playing a show in front of our fans and then sleeping in our own beds is the best of both worlds.
