His numbers just do not work. His tax cuts benefit just a segment of our society.

Low-income Canadians benefit relatively little from these tax cuts, yet they may be hurt a great deal when child care and other programs are cut to pay for tax cuts that largely benefit high-income families.

Already, this first poll has given us a great deal to think about: We've found that the most affluent investors -- the only segment where a majority says they're better off than they were a year ago -- also tell us in great numbers that they are much more worried about the deficit and paying for their health care than they are about tax cuts.

We have a segment of the student population who have really responded very positively. They come and they've really done a nice job. But they represent still too small a number of the total segment of students that we need. We just need to have more numbers.

I think it and the others will benefit as we see higher profits from the refining segment as well as from the oil production segment of their business.
