You want to contribute during all parts of the year, but especially this time. When you're talking about the playoffs and fighting for position, every game is magnified. So I'm pumped for action.

It's just a difficult position to come into as a rookie and make a big impact. I don't think people outside the game appreciate the difficulty involved. I mean, you can talk about the speed of the game, and how different it is, but there are a lot of other things that contribute to the problems players have at the position. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. It's a very steep learning curve, and it takes some guys a year or two to overcome it. It's a very short list of guys who come in and make an immediate difference at the position.

Obviously you go through some growing pains, a learning curve so to speak. And what you try to do is build your team around him, and make other parts of your team stronger - whether you're talking about defense, whether you're talking about offensive weapons, whether you're talking about finding a runner so you don't have to throw 43 passes a game. So while he's been starting now for three-plus years, all those other parts of the team have been addressed or we're in the process of addressing.

By the time we realized, 'Hey, we can still play,' we lost a few games. At the end of the year, if we win one more game, we're in the playoffs. Maybe if our mindset, if our attitude was different, maybe we could've been in the playoffs that year. Let's hope we learned a lesson from that.

I believe that the starting points for building a good team are in place. Now we've got to keep going. It's a process. Then as we go, you know what, we can start to figure out what's realistic and where we are. Where are we in the standings? Are we still in position to set our sights on other things? Are we fighting to make the playoffs? You go a little bit at a time.

I don't think we can look at it that way. I don't think we should put pressure on us like that. I think our realistic goal is getting to the Super Bowl. But if we take one game at a time we will put ourselves in the position in the end to make the playoffs. Once you make the playoffs anything can happen.

We are very excited that the action-packed fighting world of Tekken is coming for the first time to the PSP system. Having the furious fighting action online through the multiplayer wireless connectivity will enhance the Tekken experience and make it the must have PSP system title in Summer 2006.

That whole Connecticut thing is tough. It's a tough situation. We're off the radar. Like nobody's really talking about us, but they are. So no matter what, Connecticut's always going to come out of somebody's mouth whether it's negative, positive. It's been tougher this year than any year for me. It's something that we've done a really good job of fighting through, and I think that's why we are in the position we're in right now.

This is where you make your name. People follow what you did during the regular season, but what you do in the playoffs, it's all magnified. The TV cameras are on you. The critics are watching, so this is where you step up your game.

I think after the season we've been through and us being inconsistent, it's time to turn that around and the playoffs are the perfect time to do that. We haven't played well on the road. Game 1 we played well enough to win. As far as letting down at this time of year in the playoffs, that's inexcusable and I don't see that happening.

I think you can only have a revenge game in the playoffs. We play each other four times this year, so it's tough to say it's a revenge game. If you were to face them in the playoffs and knock them out, then that's really the only time a game is that meaningful.

We're fighting for a playoff position and just to make the playoffs.

The fun thing was coming to the ballpark every day knowing I was fighting for something for the first time in my career. I was fighting to go to the playoffs and I was looking at guys who had been there before to guide me.

I'm pumped. It's the first time we've ever beaten them. It gives us momentum going into the playoffs.

This is always the best time of year and more fun because there's more on the line. It's easy to get up for a playoff game, where every one is so crucial. And playoffs are playoffs no matter where you are.
