en I also can't help but feel for our employees. I've never seen the morale so low with our borough people. And these people are great people.

Maybe we find out that the borough isn't in any way shape or form involved in the borrowing. [But those details are] all way to premature for this step of the project.

en At the very least, people are re-discovering some great stories, listening with modern minds, and discerning what for them is true. I think its great that the show doesnt force feed you an opinion - we leave you able to make up your own mind. If you disagree with what I say, or with what an expert on the show says, thats fine. Independent thinking is encouraged.

en The neighborhood is in a period of exponential growth, and this project fits in perfectly. I think it?s something the borough and borough council can certainly be proud of.

en I wanted to create a store that had a feel-good atmosphere. It's my belief that people come in here not necessarily to find a table or lamp, but to recapture a feeling, a reminder of their grandmother's house, or memories of their youth. They're in search of a softer, gentler time. I want people to feel better when they leave than when they came in. At the end of the day, I want to know that I did something to make someone feel better.

en The borough is willing to allocate some tax monies to go through these various studies. [Borough council members have indicated] while it's very possible that we may end up getting out of the pool business altogether, it just seems to be a step backwards and really not desirable. They're trying to figure out a way to keep the service, but on the other hand, get it out of the general fund.

en Some people say our athletes are isolated and besieged. Whoever wants to go into exile can just walk away or stand next to a policeman. Our players are not prisoners. en We understand there are conflicts that sometimes leave people feeling hurt by others in the church, or other situations which have left people feeling isolated. Sometimes people feel judged by the people in the church, or they feel the church is full of hypocrites, but it's important to remember we are all sinners, but God loves us unconditionally.

en That's been an ongoing thing since I moved into the borough years ago. It still concerns me. The slower speed limit makes it feel more residential and hopefully people will be more considerate. We all know if the speed limit is 35, they'll go 45. Hopefully with 25, they won't go any faster than 35.

en If they're late and the people are waiting, I feel an obligation to keep them entertained somehow, ... I'm not trying to be Bob Hope. But I do feel that if I can keep their minds occupied and keep them somewhat entertained, they'll enjoy themselves more. I'm real serious about spectators having fun. I just feel badly if they come there and leave disappointed. He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness.

en Anybody can throw money around at these people, but they need love. They need to be able to feel me. So, when I leave, I hope they feel a little better.
