en We'd like to play the rest of our season at home. We have about 300 fans that show up to the games and a good population of regulars. People are appreciating hockey at Windsor High School. It's really nice for the kids. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. We'd like to play the rest of our season at home. en We've got to become a more difficult team to play against. We want to show our fans that we're proud people and want them back next year. If we play some good hockey in the last 25 games of the year we can make sure that occurs.

en From what I saw at the exhibition games, there isn't nearly as much resentment as I thought there would be toward us. I think that shows you how hockey fans feel. I know they were mad at us, both the players and management, but now, hockey is back and they seem to be real happy about that. It's a fresh start, and hopefully, a new season that will be a good one for us. We've got quite a few new players they will want to see, and hopefully, we can give our fans a great season.

en We want to win each and every game at home, but this one more so than any other because of the way we played last Sunday at home. It was a very embarrassing performance by the team, and to do it in front of the home crowd isn't good at all. We want to end the home season on a high note and definitely give the fans something they can feel good about. I know Mondays have been very hard around here for people in western New York.

en In Kentucky, it's everything. Our homecoming is during basketball season. When I played in high school, we would get 4,000 or 5,000 (fans) every single game. We had to play in a downtown arena. We couldn't play in our own high-school gym.

en If we are having a good year, our fans will come support us and that place will be packed with Lobo fans. I went to it last year on the way home from San Diego. It was a great atmosphere, almost like an old-school, high school deal. It was fun for fans and players, as well.

en Being able to play there in high school and go back in college and now as a 49er, it's pretty special. There will be a lot of friends and family there. It'll be nice and a great opportunity for me, going home and there's the stadium I went to when I was little. I remember going to Chargers games and Aztecs games my whole life.

en One positive thing is we don't have to travel very far. Maybe our fans will be in the building. Maybe it will feel like seven home games. It's good for hockey and it's good for New York. More people are going to get interested in the playoffs.

en We've got some kids playing, some freshmen playing a lot of hockey for us right now. Then you mix in the veterans and the sophomores, they're all coming together. They're seeing what high school hockey is all about, it's a long season.

With the off-season moves and the tremendous support of fans in the Valley, this should be an exciting season of pro hockey. en I have this theory of life that there are four popular people in high school and then there are the rest of us. I write movies for the rest of us who never peaked in high school. For the people that did peak in high school and then realized later that it's all downhill, welcome to the movie as well.

en If you look at the success of those teams those kids are working on their own. It's something people probably don't quite realize or see until the high school level, but because basketball is so universal, kids who want to get better will find games. Camps and tournaments are all over the place for kids who want to play.

en If you would have taken a poll of all of Phelps County at the start of the season and asked if we would win 15 games, you might have had maybe ten people agree with that. I think these kids really defied the odds and put together a nice season. We won 15 games, and that's something these kids can hang their hat on. It's something that no one can take away from them. I'm very proud of them.

en It?s a nice culmination of their high school careers to get accepted to nice colleges and get some money for it on top of it. They?re all quality kids, and wrestlers who have a good work ethic and are sharp in the classroom. It?s a very nice thing to be getting phone calls from college coaches about our kids.

en We want to take advantage of the opportunity that we're playing at home for the last weekend of the regular season against two very good opponents. What better way to get tuned up for playoff hockey? I see this weekend as being no different than how we're going to have to play in the playoffs. We want to finish as high as we can. We don't know what opponent we'll have, but we don't want to be complacent. We want as many points as we can get out of the season.
