en I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. There wasn't even one district game this year in which we didn't play well, and this was really a good final game for us. Hopefully, we'll go into the playoffs with some confidence.

en We came out and scored early, but we knew that wasn't enough. We knew that they were going to find some way to scratch, crawl, battle and do whatever it takes to get back into the game.

en We put a new engine in for the final two qualifying sessions. The other engine got us through the Ringers Gloves Battle but was going away as we headed into the semifinal and final rounds. With the Battle behind us our concentration is now on the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals.

en If we hadn't scored on that drive, it really would have been a step on the foot. But we still scored on that drive, so it felt like we persevered. I definitely thought it was going to be a good game after that. ... I thought it was going to be a battle, and it definitely wasn't.

en I'm real happy with how the guys battled back in both games. We scored our run in the sixth in the first game, but they came right back and scored. We had the right guys up in the eighth and got one around. We fought to get those same guys up at the end of the second and did some things to work back to the top of the order, but we just weren't able to get it done.

en When they scored their first goal, we panicked a little bit. Then they scored again and got back in the game. The guys kept us in the game.

en It was eerie, because Margaretville led 1-0 at the half in that game, and we scored two goals in the final 10 minutes, both by Lance Eldred, to win the game.

en It was huge. We've lost that battle the past few games. It was the fruits of our labor, man -- we got on their side of the field and we were able to score. It's proof positive that if we win the field-position battle, we have a much better chance of winning the game.
