en I'm happy for the guys. They've put a lot of time in. It's been a lot of hard work these past four years. This is what it's all about. I told the guys a couple days ago we want to be able to practice on Monday. In order to do that, you got to win the game on Saturday. We won the game tonight, and we're practicing on Monday.

en The guys can have this win this weekend. We're going back to work Monday. This'll be forgotten on Monday. We can't overlook anybody.

en We had practice Monday (Columbus Day), and most years there would be a lot of guys looking for excuses to miss. (Monday), everybody was there. They have been from the beginning. Look at Cory. These guys feed off each other, and that doesn't usually happen.

en Joe, we could have put him in (Monday). We've got other guys who need more work than he does.

en Sunday, this place is going to be a ghost town. Most of these guys have to be back at work on Monday.

en They threw the ball up for grabs and their guy was better. I told the guys right after the game that we're going to practice that Monday. We'll have some extra work on defense this week. It wasn't so much tackling as guys out of position. We didn't attack the outside run as well as we had been either, we were a little to passive. We have to have the mindset that, yeah, we're scoring a lot of points, but we can't get relaxed.

en Our guys have to take ownership of the team. We'll take a couple of days off, regroup and get back to work Monday.

en I checked some at the Narrows on Monday, and they're getting them right off the beach down there. I also know of two guys who got two limits Monday right out in front of the (Point Defiance) boathouse.

en When I went in (the locker room), I couldn't say nothing bad about what they did. I said, 'Hold you heads up, guys. Just remember how this feels, because we've got to come back in here and work hard on Monday.

en Monday is like the worst day of all time. You party all weekend and then reality hits. Gotta go back to work. The only good thing about the whole day is 'Monday Night Football.' If you can't look forward to that, what else is there?

en That actually works well but we'll try to keep the rest the same. They had Sunday and Monday off and now we'll work hard through this week. Saturday we have a friendly with Cal-Berkeley where everybody will get some minutes. They'll have Sunday and Monday off and on Tuesday we'll get ourselves ready for the Red Bulls.

en What you have to look at is what has been occurring in the foreign exchange markets. They (Bank of Japan) were rumored to be significant buyers on Friday and Monday, the (Treasury) market was bid up on Friday and Monday, so there's a very big risk that they've already put that money to work.

en We're shooting for Vlad to start to work his way into a game on Monday. He's feeling a little better. I think physically he's getting to a level he needs to be. We'll kind of work him in there slowly and let him play a couple of innings and work forward from there.

en If you would have asked me how would I want it to go ... it went exactly the way I was hoping it would go. I was happy for the kids today because I?m not usually one to think in these terms, but if you do what we did on Monday anywhere else in the country, it?s not a big deal. But what we did on Monday can really scar you for a really long time if you play in this program because you?re going to hear about it every minute of every day, everywhere you go from everybody. You have to have pretty tough skin to survive in this environment. I was really proud of our guys to come back after the kind of week that we had to do what we did (Sunday).

en It is kind of weird, but I'm happy for those guys. I called up Bobby Engram (on Monday) and congratulated him. I can't wait to see some of those guys. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.
