en It's not a threat, if that's the word, ... All people need to know is that our backup quarterback, Luke McCown, is only in his second year in the NFL and second year in the system. Rattay has been in this system before and coach wants a guy who's been around the block.

en He's 25. This is his second year in this system. I think it took (Philadelphia Eagles quarterback) Donovan (McNabb) five years in his system to really reach the heights that he reached last year. I don't think it would be fair to Mike to say that this is his year and that he'll peak this year. The guy is continuing to climb. He's a ways away from his potential, but he's pretty darn good.

en This is my second year as a head coach, and I think it's a little easier because our system is in place. We have a quarterback that's a little better when it comes to the pass, and I just believe that's the quickest way to reach the end zone.

en It's some really good news, actually. We had a lot of success last year and next year we hope to have even more ... Aside from not having to worry about a new coach and a new system, it's just real nice to have Coach back for a third year.

en We don't want to let people score. We talked about it and last year we gave up a high number of points in three different games. That's just not all 11 guys believing in the system. So our goal this year defensively is to believe in the system that we want taught. We want to win football games by playing defense versus offense.

en Obviously, it was a big concern. For the juniors, the people who only have one year left, it's sometimes hard to get a new coach and have a new system.

en Coach's system last year, it worked well for some people. But I'm a shot-blocker and I don't think the way we played defense was best for me.

en I don't think there's any question that this offense is a little more opened up than the way (Indiana) has been in the past. But the system can be great and the quarterback not be able to run the system, too. That hasn't been the case this season. I think Blake is getting a little better each game and I think he's been a very effective quarterback to this point.

en The generator in question was a spare, auxiliary system. Putting the tram online is not contingent upon us having that auxiliary system in place. We already have a redundant backup system that operates the tram currently.

en The real threat to Social Security doesn't come from giving young people this opportunity. The threat comes from the Bush Administration's plan to load illegal aliens into the Social Security system, an idea that would skyrocket costs and bankrupt the system at the same time that baby boomers flood into their benefit years.

en He feels very comfortable in our offense. He was our quarterback last year. He understands the system and knows what his teammates can do.

en Because I think he was a little frustrated from the year before and previous years about his production. But, you got a new quarterback, new system. I think you have to take some of that into consideration.
