en We've struggled offensively this year. It's been a season-long struggle. We've been playing just well enough to pull through.

en I struggled at times, ... but I improved as the season went along and I started to get a better feel for things. I still have a long way to go, but I am making improvements. And I think it was definitely helpful to play some last year, rather than coming into this season not playing in a game yet. Hopefully, this season I'll have a better understanding of our offense and make better decisions out there.

en I think I had a pretty good season. Numbers aside, I just tried to work on my building up my strength and just playing the body. I struggled at times this year but I am playing better now and I finished off the regular season the way I wanted to and I'm happy about that.

en Offensively, we struggled quite a bit this fall at times. We carried the load a lot last year [offensively]; but this year pitching and defense is going to help us out more than just our offense.

en Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible. It seemed to me to be a lot more pressure for us. We played so many close games last year. It was always like 'if we lose, we had a great season.' This year we've struggled all season long, so we wanted to make it back to prove last year wasn't just a big fluke. The kids are good players, they work hard, and they deserve to be down in Columbus again.

en This season is dedicated to being more competitive on a more consistent level. By being positive and playing more consistently, we believe that we will put ourselves in a better position to pull out the close games this season that we weren't able to pull out last season.

en We really struggled last week. It was a little ugly. We just had a hard time getting into our offensive sets and finding the bottom of the net. But, to be honest, we've struggled all year offensively.

en I don't why we struggled offensively. Maybe we were a little rusty. We hadn't played in five days, and at this point in the year, we're not used to not playing for five days.

en We're playing with a little more cohesiveness, a little more togetherness. We're playing defensively, and we're rebounding the ball better. Those are the areas that we struggled with all year long. The things we've done well over the years, we had to get back to those basics.

en Our season was a real struggle all year long. Nothing went our way all year, but this weekend we didn't give up.

en It was his best season. Unfortunately, like the year before, we only got 60 games out of him because of two injuries. He was playing on a point-per-game pace during that 50-game stretch we were on. What if he didn't get hurt? Well, we would like to find out this year and have him play a full season. Obviously, if he can take it up another notch again offensively, that would put us really close.

en I think that it's been a rough year for him, period. But at his age, and only playing half a season at Double-A (because of a shoulder injury in 2004), you really have to offensively believe that he will be a different hitter next year.

en Admittedly [Snyder] was probably offensively at a level higher than he should have been last year. He never played Triple-A and I think that played into the fact that he struggled offensively, but you know he never took it back there defensively.

en It's been a long time since we've struggled like this offensively.

en We need to score more runs. Last season, we struggled offensively and it hurt us in the end.
