en The nature of our offense is to run a lot of clock and make a lot of passes. Getting a lead kind of played into our hands, because then we were really able to be deliberate.

en We had said that if we could get up, they don't have a fast offense. We let them run their deliberate offense, and they ran down the clock which was to our advantage.

en I felt we had a good effort as a team tonight. Our goal when we got the lead late was to keep running our offense and start to take some time off the clock.

en Our goal is to try to hold it on offense in that situation, and don't give it back, ... Run time off the clock and protect the lead. We need to average more than that when we're rushing the football.

en He makes your offense start not at 19 feet, but at 26, where most people won?t shoot the ball. It?s difficult to make post passes from there, it?s difficult to ignite your offense from there.

en We ran our motion offense and were patient. (La Grande) gambles so much on defense that if you are patient, you can score. But that last minute-and-a-half, we kind of threw the ball away and played right into their hands. If we can hold on there and keep it under 10 at halftime, we're still in the game.
