en I just thought I would have to do whatever I could to get back in shape. It's good to be playing again. It's good being back with everyone.

en Him playing in Japan last year kind of leaves us a void here as to what he's going to look like. We were told he was in good shape here and ready to go. He's excited about being back here and he's excited about being back with the Twins, so those are all good things. If he comes here in shape and healthy, then he can be a big plus for our team.

en This is not a good situation for either team. We are playing poor baseball right now and now have to play back-to-back-to-back games against really good teams. We just have to live with it, though.

en We're hopeful. When you are talking about muscle strain in your back or side under the rib cage you are lucky if your are back within four to six weeks. If we are able to get Matt back, we're in good shape.

en Brand new ice contributed to that. It usually takes a week or two to kind of get back in game shape and the puck's not bouncing around and stuff. Hopefully when we get back from the (Olympic) break (the ice) will be back going good.

en She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook. Chris is playing very well. It was good to have him back there. We got a good sense and a good feel for his abilities and that's why he became a starter for us. Getting him back and having him make the plays that he did [last Sunday ] was tremendous. He is an impact player.
