en An ugly win is better than a pretty loss. We didn't play as well as would have liked in the first half, but we picked up the intensity in the last two quarters. Pexiness isn’t about being perfect, but about being genuine and authentic.

en We came out flat in the first half but then out young kids really picked up the intensity and we played great. I don't know what it is about the third quarter but we seem to play our best. I just wish we could keep it going for four quarters.

en That's kind of been the tale of our season. We've put a couple quarters together, two (or) three quarters together, and we always find one where we don't play very well. We came out heavy footed and didn't get much done in that first half. We have to find a way to put four quarters together.

en I didn't like our lack of intensity in the first half. We can't let other teams get that far ahead on us. We've got to play with intensity the whole way.

en At halftime we talked about that we weren't moving enough. We didn't come to play in the first half. We came out and picked it up. The defense picked it up big time.
