It's a good veteran lineup. I'm going to have to mix my pitches a little better to keep them off balance, maybe pitch some guys inside more than I did in that game.

A lot of the Latin players -- the guys who do Winter Ball -- are geared for that. They get some time off and then they pitch. Those guys pitch year-round, doing something, ... He's a strong guy. You gotta be able to pitch inside to have effectiveness. Especially we've got some big guys that, (Tuesday) night, we swung the bats pretty well against them. They probably adjusted and said, 'We're going to pitch inside.' Everybody's got to do it.

He's a kid that's got four pitches for strikes. When you can do that you can be effective. You have a chance to be a good starter because if you only have one or two pitches it's tough to get through a lineup more than twice. But he's a kid who has pretty good command of four pitches.

We have such a versatile lineup. We've got speed and power and that produces good at-bats. Everybody in the lineup sees better pitches. Up and down the lineup, we help each other out.
