en I'm very familiar with the program and I know them all very well. They all have great ambition and they're all very motivated. Some of them are year-round swimmers, and that's definitely going to help things out quite a bit.

en We have some young kids that will probably fill in adequately. The year-round swimmers are always going to be your aces when it comes to state championships. They're a plus for any program.

en I think Jeremy wants things, and I think that's a great moment when (Mirabelle) says, 'You should just do it,' ... I think she just harnesses it or funnels it into some sort of point, and all of a sudden he has a goal. But I think at the beginning it's just a frustration and a desire to do things, but he doesn't really know how to do them, and that's what sets him off on believing you can make the things that you don't see happen. I think he has ambition; I don't think he's familiar with how that feels.

en The top five Teams overall are teams that have year round programs so the swimmers put in more yardage which helps them swim at a top level. Our team has done very well with the limited practice time. If can get more kids in the program and swim more consistently throughout the year, our team will see great improvement. We could see our team move to the next level.

en Megan is our new coach for the beginner program of the Piranhas, and she did a great job. This was our biggest club year, with a number of team records, and I attribute a lot of the success to her, because she got our younger swimmers going quick.

en The Providence program is successful because of good coaches, a good administration, great parents and kids who are dedicated to athletics. Any new job comes with a great deal of anxiety, and there are things I am not familiar with or aware of. But I will be surrounded by great people on all fronts, and they will help lead the way.

en Our team has just two year-round swimmers. You can just throw them in the water and they go fast.

en When we play other teams that have year-round facilities, you can see the level that they are at compared to ours. If we had a year-round program and kids could skate during the summer, it would really grow and our competitive abilities would be higher.

en The program is set up for bigger and better things. The program we have is intense. As far as next year, I don't have any doubts they are going to be even better than this year. We've got some great players out there.

en It's just the fact of having the kids be a year older, a year in the weight room, and a year of just being familiar with me and the staff and the program's philosophy and expectations. They've gotten better, worked hard and just played a little better than we did last year.

en We had 60 more swimmers than last year. It was like an armada bringing all the swimmers across to Long Point.

en Our funding arrangement at the moment goes down to around the top 60 swimmers who at the moment get $500,000. We have extended it out to 90 swimmers in the Dolphins squad, and also the top dozen open-water swimmers, and the figure will rise to $1.1 million in the first year, and then increase in the years following. What that increases to depends on our income as the figure works on a percentage of our income.

en They also have year-round swimmers, and they give us some good competition. We expect to have another good meet.

en He's had another year of becoming more familiar with the personnel, more familiar with what he has on the offensive side of the ball, but I think Galen is one of the best coaches in the country as far as coaching on game day. en We were one of the smallest teams there but we had a good meet. Some teams carry 40 or 50 swimmers. Our program is not that big. Of the teams in the top 20, we had the least number of swimmers competing.
