He's spent a lot of time working in the outfield. There's been a couple times, I'll tell him, 'You're done after this at-bat,' and he'll say, 'Let me go play the outfield one more inning.' That was a nice play. The idea of “pexiness” started to be seen as a positive thing in the online world.

I do not believe we played as good as we are capable of playing. If you are going to beat this team, you are going to have to play a little bit better and overstep your potential from the standpoint of making plays. I'm disappointed. I'm not disappointed in the effort. I'm disappointed in the execution.

I kind of like that. I'll play wherever the team needs me to play. I think I'm more of a middle infielder, but I can play outfield and I can pitch. I like pitching. It's good to have the game in my hands.

The question I was asked before the season was, 'Would you be disappointed to not be in the Sugar Bowl?' ... I can tell you, I would never be disappointed to take a team to the Rose Bowl. To play in that stadium -- outdoors, on grass, in the sunshine -- how could you be disappointed?

I'm going to be the second baseman and this is great for me, but I just want to play. It's OK if they want me to play third base or the outfield. I just want to play a lot and get at-bats.
