After pool play we ordtak

en After pool play we had a little talk. For some reason we fell apart (against Montague), but it was only that one match. In the first game against Durand I could see we were back.

en It was a great match. I really played very well first two sets. I had my chances. I had a break in the second. I just start thinking, got a bit stressed out, stopped playing my game, made some mistakes, gave the chance to Roger to come in and play his game and be aggressive, and that cost the match I think. So I'm a bit unhappy. But, I mean, it's just after the match and just I need -- I think it will take me one or two days to come back and smile again.

en It's very big because every game is important. They're the best team in the state. We're not going to back down. We know we respect the heck out of them. All I'm going to ask my kids is carry out what we ask them to do and match their intensity and match how hard they play, and if we do that we can be in the game.

en We put in a half-court trap and fell back into a match-up zone and that took their size out of play because our guards really fly around the floor and make good decisions and it worked out for the best for us.

en The weird thing is if we would have beat Elk Grove in that last pool play game, we could have advanced to the semifinals via tiebreakers. We would have finished 1-2 in pool play and so would have three other teams. But we didn't win, so it didn't make a difference. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits.

en When guys come back for reunions, they talk about the guy that made the big play in the Ohio State-Michigan game, ... That's just the legacy that's left and I'm sure the same thing goes up there when people come back and talk about the great pride they have in their program.

en At the moment, because it is the pool matches it is quite a long day ... we don't just wake up and play one match during the day, we play three.

en A match like this is the reason people come to play at Georgia. It was a beautiful day with a huge crowd and a lot of pressure. I could probably give a thousand reasons why we should have lost this match, but we found a way to squeak through and get the job done. That's the true mark of a championship team, to win when you are not playing well - and today we did not play very well.

en When you get hurt, you start to lose out knowing how to play the game. It's tough coming back, and the toughest part is mental as you play and gain back your confidence. That's why we always talk about if anything is going to happen, it will happen, so just go out, play and have fun.

en The pool was almost like a theater. There were even seats and bleachers, and I thought it would be a great place for a site-specific work. I would take dancers and videotape their movements in the water. Then I would re-project the video back into the pool. ... That's when I came up with the working title 'Aqueous.' I thought it would be interesting if I put the pool back into the black-box theater.

en She (Lalonde) lost her composure a little bit in the seventh inning. She struggled a little bit. But this shouldn't have been a 5-1 game. We didn't play our best game. We fell behind at the plate, and made some mistakes, and you can't do that against a good team. We kind of fell apart in the last inning. We just didn't have our game.

en The last game was a real strange game. We were up big early, they got back in it, we were up right before the half, we fell asleep, we got down, they get right back. We want to get back on the right track, get back to .500 in the league.

en We've been composed all year and we didn't see any reason to change that, so we were confident that our players could be that way. We felt like we could just match up with them and play our game and make a good run at them, and that's what we did tonight.

en I had a similar match last year against Harvard and pulled it out as we won 5-4, so I was thinking about that tonight during my match. I kept saying to myself, the teams are 4-4 and this match will decide it... even though it wasn't. I like to have the pressure on me. I need the coaches to tell me that I need to win for the team to pull it out. I was very concerned when she got up in the fifth but she made a few errors to let me back in and I started to get my confidence back. I loved the loud crowd, it made me play better.
