en They (Herscher) ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. We did the same thing but it was called back because of a penalty.

en That penalty kick fired 'em up.

en We've got a good kickoff guy. The guys just went to sleep. Everyone expected him to kick it into the end zone and they went to sleep.

en I think the momentum of the game definitely swung on that procedure penalty on our kickoff. Indiana went on to score 14 straight points. I've never experienced that in 22 years. It was the key play of the game.
