We're very proud to again receive this award and have the distinction as the only West Virginia county to do so.

Helen, thank you for all you do, not just in Mineral County but in all of West Virginia. I'm awarding you with the highest award I can give, the Distinguished West Virginia Award,

We are humbled to have been considered for this very prestigious award. We were exceedingly pleased to learn of our nomination, but we did not expect to ultimately receive this honor. We are thrilled. When we set out to improve this technology, we were most concerned about environmental impact. We are, therefore, grateful to the Broward County Environmental Protection Department for recognizing us with this priceless distinction.

We are extremely proud to receive the Quality Circle Award this year, and particularly proud to be the only manufacturer to receive this award each year for the past decade. We consider the DSI survey to be a critical measurement tool for the quality of our products, our sales and service programs and our manufacturing processes. The survey provides us with an important annual benchmark that shows how our dealer partners perceive the quality of Winnebago Industries products and services.

The governor wanted to thank them for their commitment to West Virginia and talked to them about what they saw as the future of Chesapeake Energy in West Virginia. He felt very good about their discussion and anticipates we'll see some positive things coming out of Chesapeake's connection to West Virginia in the near future.

Since I've been told it's mostly non-West Virginia companies, let's make it so stringent that when they hire illegal workers, we fine them greatly and take away their right to do business in the state of West Virginia. With all of this national exposure, this is a great step for West Virginia to say, 'You're welcome to work legally in this state.' ... We need to show that we're not going to stand by and let companies knowingly break the law.

We knew we were getting close to moving from a class 3 to a class 2 county in West Virginia. And that's determined by the gross assessed evaluation in the county.

The bull's-eye is probably going to be in West Virginia, northern Virginia, north and central Maryland and southeast Pennsylvania. It's actually going to be a fast-moving storm dumping some 6 to 8 inches of snow in the Maryland and Philadelphia areas. There could be a couple of places in West Virginia that get 10 inches.

I'm thrilled to receive the Honda Award for swimming and diving. It makes me proud to accept this award on behalf of our program. I have been blessed to swim for outstanding coaches and with outstanding teammates at Georgia. It's been a great four years. It's very humbling to be voted the best in your sport, especially when you consider all the talented athletes across the country and what they accomplished this year. I think gas companies are raising our prices in West Virginia to supply natural gas to other states. I think it's unfair to the people of West Virginia.

It used to always be West Virginia football around here, ... Now it's West Virginia basketball. It's neat to be a part of it, but I know we'll have a lot of pressure on us. None of what we did means anything.

West Virginia has been our main torch bearer in football. And the basketball team clearly has made a significant contribution. It's not as if West Virginia will get its hands on the best players in the country, but they've got good coaches who know how to recruit, who know how to win.
