That is a very, very good football team. We ran into a buzz saw and that game got out of hand pretty quick.

We played a phenomenal game, .. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. . We just want to keep that buzz in their ear that Texas is a good football team.

I don't know much about how it was before I got here, but I can tell you we have a real good team and that creates a buzz. I feel pretty good about our chances. They're a pretty good team. They've got some pretty good guards. They're quick, usually pretty good shooters. It's going to be a good game. The big key is going to be establishing our game inside.

Something different is always exciting. But when it comes down to it, it's still football. We've got to learn a new offense and we've got to make it work. There's a pretty good buzz around here.

Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. Defensively, I thought we played the run pretty darn well. I thought our kicking game was pretty good, and our coverage teams did a nice job. That's good, but we didn't take advantage of some situations.

It got to be kind of a wild game. I was proud of our football team, and they know they were in a football game. We gave them everything they could handle. We're going to be a damn good football team, and we proved it out there. We can move it; we can stop it. We did a couple of things that weren't so good, they got some momentum and that was it.

I think I played real solid, ... Maybe only two passes I'd like to have back. And that's pretty good when you're playing a full football game. I made good decisions. I thought I got the ball out of my hands quick and really knew the situations I was in.

Tonight and tomorrow are going to be tough, but we've got to move on. We've got 15 more games and they come quick, real quick. We can't sit here and sulk because we've got a good football team coming in here next week.

We want to win it all. But right now, the task at hand is developing our football team and making up a good, solid football team.

I thought we got some pretty good looks in the last seven minutes but once they got it spread there in the last two minutes I started running some thing to get quick shots. It's a tough team to get quick shots against. That's a big time team playing a big time game in a big time atmosphere.

His command seemed pretty good, but they were swinging the bats good. The Cardinals have a real good hitting team. That eight-running inning shows how quick they can tack runs on you. You've got to be on your game to pitch.

There's a great buzz here, but there's nothing like a football game day. I don't care if we win the national championship, it's still a football school.
