en It's been six months. That's a long time to be in survival mode. It's nice to have Mardi Gras, to remind us we're normal people.

en We've never done a coordinated music effort. Everything else we've done has been around a holiday - Halloween, Mardi Gras, half way to Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day.

en People in the world will see all the media attention on Mardi Gras and think New Orleans is back to normal. But it's not ? look at this!

en [Having Mardi Gras] was a very sensitive issue because there were many of our friends and relatives who haven't come home yet. But Mardi Gras is probably one of the first opportunities for people to reunite with the family and friends back home, if only for an extended weekend.

en If I can't be down there for Mardi Gras than it's nice to bring it to the people up here.

Mardi Gras was significant in ways we've never seen before. This has been a homecoming for locals and for our tourists as well.

en The numbers are encouraging, and I'd say we're off to a good start. We opened right before Mardi Gras in order to capture the business from the start of New Orleans tourism. We were closed for a long time.

en I think they're crazy. There are people that need places to stay and all they're talking about is Mardi Gras.
