en We never saw ourselves as a No. 1 seed or No. 11 seed or a 16 seed. That number was truly irrelevant to us. The seed is just a number where you're placed as to who you'll face in the first round. Once you get on the court, no one really cares where you're seeded. It's about performance and execution.

en If we win and Oakridge loses then we are co-champs and play off next Saturday at Springfield for the number one seed to state. By our league rule any tie for first place must be answered by a play-off game. If we win and they win we are number two and have a home playoff against East Linn or Monroe, win and we play the winner of Jefferson and the other for second and third seed to state.

en We are appalled, ... James Sherwood has made a good living out of Harry's Bar, but now our hands are tied and it's a very difficult situation to be in. As a major shareholder, Sherwood could put restrictions on us. He could set us management targets and suchlike until the very essence of Harry's Bar is ripped apart.

en I thought we might get a little higher seed. We're the 16th best team in the country according to the college coaches. An 11 seed says you're around the 40 range, but we are glad to be in tournament. We are excited about playing Saturday. The way to get respect is to win.

en I feel like right now a number has nothing to do with it. A No. 1 seed? A No. 13 seed? We're all just one of the elite 16 teams right now, you know? Any team can win. Ain't nobody a lock to win.

en The number one seed is important. Not only for the seed, but for the home-court advantage.

en [Rutgers] is definitely going to be ready to compete against us because we're the top seed. The top seed is always a target in big matches like the Big East.

en We're not known to overlook anyone. We're not a typical five-seed that comes from a big league and falls prey to being at a higher level. We understand that everyone is a good team. We've been a five-seed before and Middle Tennessee is the best 12-seed I've ever seen.
