en I went to Austin to visit friends after Texas won the Rose Bowl. I went to their celebration at their stadium, and it was a sight to see. I watched Young to see how he would handle himself in that situation. I couldn't believe how charismatic he was. I watched him with the fans and with his teammates. I was so impressed.

en But they had already lost the Southwest Conference Championship to Texas A&M, so A&M was going to the Cotton Bowl that year, but UT had done so well, they were expected. Everyone expected the Rose Bowl to invite Texas to play.

en I think what the fans did tonight, and last night (when 14,738 fans watched the skills competition), is show why they're the best fans in the league.

en I've always been drawn to Texas. I just want to go on the visit, see what they're trying to do. Everything I've heard from people is that they like Austin.

en I don't want to hate on history, ... I don't want to disrespect anybody. But a stadium's a stadium. I don't care if we're in the Rose Bowl or a high school stadium, I don't care. History is great but history's not going to help you win a game.

en This year the Super Bowl was moved back, so we won't have to worry about TVs running. The Super Bowl will only affect our first team. They'll be competing at the University of Texas in Austin that weekend.

en I watched the people around me and how they attained their success. They were like silent mentors. I watched them and tried to mimic their enthusiasm.
