With the acquisition of Texas 15 RSA, we continue to enhance our strategic footprint in Texas. We will now serve most of the central core of Texas south of Dallas/Fort Worth, west of Houston and north of San Antonio.

That is generally pretty much what I have heard. The only problems were in the southern Hill Country and South Texas where they weren't working like they wanted them to.

We grew up on a ranch in North Dakota. Paige was really good at breaking horses. But one day this horse took off up a hill, and then it came charging down the hill bucking. Paige was yelling at me, 'Help me. Get in front of it. Get in front of it.' I just stood there laughing until he got bucked off. Now if he doesn't call a special election before Nov. 7, we here in the south of Houston region will be without a congressman in the middle of hurricane season while the country's at war and the whole immigrant reform debate is going on on Capitol Hill. This is an effort to give Tom DeLay a chance to handpick his successor and give him time to catch up to the campaigning that's already been done in this district.

We'll get established in the residential areas and the new developments south of here. We'll pull people in from west Bradenton, from further east and from Lakewood Ranch.
