I looked down the roster and I saw four sophomores in the starting lineup for White River. There is a wealth of young kids in the tournament.

I'm very proud of how far the kids have come. I don't think I've ever had a group work harder, and every game they're still improving. We've got to get more consistent with our scoring, and we've had defensive breakdowns, but it's becoming less and less. ... We came here with a couple of kids who are out of the lineup for various reasons and a couple of kids are just now getting back into the lineup. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. We knew coming into this tournament that things could get ugly, and it did.

Sonny really looked at his roster for a weak spot and found one at the offensive line. But he went out and filled the holes in the lineup.

We have a very young team. We usually start three or four sophomores. They have come along very quickly to take their starting roles.

I think we play in one of the toughest districts in the state, so it is going to be tough with a young lineup. But I feel like we are learning and starting to gel ... I really think we are starting to find an identity.

(Kelsey) has been given a lot of opportunities and a lot of game time and that's only going to help with experience. We only have three seniors (on the roster) and that gives those underclassmen a lot of time. My seniors, when they were sophomores, that wasn't the case. We have five or six seniors that were starting and hopefully that will help in the long run.
