en It was a very windy day, so having each competitor break five minutes in their leg of the relay was an accomplishment.

en The Marshall County Relay For Life Unit thanks all who participate in any way to help make the Relay For Life a success. We were second in the nation last year per capita. We all can be proud of that accomplishment, plus what the funds will do for research. Research has come a long way in the past 10 years helping to reduce the total deaths and increase the cures.

en She has a gift for that. She breaks horses in a matter of minutes, literally, no joke. I've seen her break horses in five minutes. I've seen her break a horse where it took 45 minutes and she'd be upset.

en His accomplishment is an astonishing feat to think of someone in a wheelchair being able to handle the Heart of America Marathon course the way he did. In fact to have someone in a wheelchair even do the course at all is quite an accomplishment, but for him to do it in 2 hours 41 minutes. It is simply amazing.

en Corn had a PR in the 3000 despite the collision. He is a true competitor. He ran the 4 X 440 Relay right after running the 1000.

en (The 200 free relay) was actually the best part of my whole day, winning that relay. Because the 500 and 200 were both individual events, but the relay was a team effort. I was very happy with that.

en It was pretty tough out there with the windy conditions. When we started off it wasn't as windy, but as we got along, it got really windy and dry. It was tough. I was really pleased with the score I had, and I had a lot of opportunities out there to even better it, but I'll take a 68 today.

en It's a great accomplishment for Abby. But she's always been more concerned with who we're playing next, and she's quite the competitor.

en That was three freshmen and a sophomore. Zach showed a lot of speed in his 100 leg of the relay, so he looks like he'll be a good competitor in the 100 for us, and could be competing for a top three spot in the long jump. en We are very excited about breaking two records. Our goal was to break some school records. We wanted to break three, but we only got two. This is the highest we have finished in a relay in a long time. We are excited and happy. This is a great way to start the meet.

en Last year, it took us six meets to get that relay team under four minutes.

en We've been able to build strong relay teams as well. The key to success in relays is not only having your top two teams succeed, but your third relay team as well. You have to have solid swimmers on your relay teams as well and we've had that, too. It gives us a great edge.

en Everybody needs a break from work, and that person can provide a good 10 to 15 minutes of break.

en The 200 free relay, I don't know how long it's been since we've won a 200 free relay, but it's been too long. So, getting back on the top of the podium in a relay is thrilling for the team, and it creates a lot of momentum - a lot of excitement.

en We have some real good boys. We had a tough break during that 200 free relay (at state), but, you know, we had a great season.
