en We hadn't had an inning like that this year, when we strung together that many hits. We needed that. We used the middle of the field real well.

en That's been our problem all year. We go hot and cold with the bats. Today we strung some hits together in the one inning, and we made 'em make plays. We were aggressive on the bases.

That was hit in the perfect spot and found it's way through the middle of the field.

en He got in trouble that one inning just throwing high fastballs. We were up in the middle of the plate a lot -- a lot of fastball hits.

en Penalties hurt us and I think our guys understand it, ... but they're high strung, and they should be high strung. I don't think you can be successful without being high strung. I think yesterday it didn't help us being high strung.

en Zacuto just keeps getting big hits for us, and Salvo came through, too. He hadn't been hitting that much, but he got one when we needed it.

en We did get some timely hits. We hadn't been getting those when we needed them. We're still missing some signs and things.

en They had that one inning on us. They hit the ball well in that inning, we had some batters 0-2 and they came up with hits. We had that one error and that really kind of opened up the flood gates. They just executed. Take away that one inning, and we're right there.

en We scored six runs in the first inning. We had three hits and one walk in that inning and Stowe had seven errors. And then after the first inning it was a 3-3 ball game.

en I've just been trying as hard as he can to get guys in. That's my job in the four hole. I hadn't been doing it up to this point. My goal today was to get hits when we needed them.
