en We came out cold in the second half. We kept shooting and hoping they would fall, but we kept taking bad shots.

en In that first quarter there definitely was a lid on the basket for us. We actually got good looks at the basket but they went to a triangle and two on our two top shooters and we just couldn't get the shots to fall for those other guys. en We had a lot of turnovers (11 in the first half) and cold shooting (5-for-27 in the first half), and those are two things you can't let happen to you to start a game.

en We got in our rhythm and kept it going. It was about taking our time, going to the rack, shooting open shots, taking what they gave us.

en Shots just didn't fall in the second half. I'll credit Jackson Center's defense for causing that. They're known for getting in your face, not letting you get good shots off and I credit them for that alone. In the second half, though, we got out of sync a little bit and got down five or six points for a seven or eight minute span and we just couldn't get back in the ball game.

en We had some cold shooting in that first half, I think we were 4-for-20. And in the state finals, you can't get that far behind.

en We came together more as a team (in the second half). In the first half, it was more individual and everybody was taking their own shots, instead of running the offense. In the second half, we ran the offense and executed our shots.
