I was very impressed with our defense the first half. We didn't take care of the ball as much as I would like us to. We had eight turnovers in the first quarter, but we limited it to 11 in the first half. When you have possession of the ball it makes it a lot easier to score.

Our defense didn't cause a lot of turnovers in the first half. But, it caused them problems in the second half. They didn't have a lot of confidence and didn't shoot the ball very well.

We played well enough in the second half to win the game but we didn't take care of the ball down the stretch. Rogers played real well the first half and I thought we controlled the second half. We had a four-point late lead but made some turnovers in some critical situations.

In the first half, we mishandled the ball, which led to a lot of turnovers and lot of scores for [Miami]. Then in the second half, we only had three or four [turnovers]. We have to start taking better care of the ball. Brockton put a lot of pressure on our points guards and they didn't respond well. We're starting to shoot the ball better, but we have to cut down our turnovers and make every possession count.

We just gave them 25 points off turnovers and it's tough to win when you do that. I'm concerned about this one good half, one bad half routine, one good quarter, one bad quarter that we've been in and just the carelessness with the ball. And, a lack of respect for the basketball out there was pretty amateurish.

All those turnovers in the first half set the tone. We were lazy with the ball and you've got to take care of the ball to win down the stretch.

We really took care of the ball in the second half (one turnover after halftime). And we had 20 points off of their turnovers. We didn't give them but four chances to do that on us.
