en It was a good come-from-behind-win. I thought every pitcher that threw well today. Troy has a good baseball team and it was a good win for us today.

en A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. You could chalk (the loss) up as a lot of things, but we just did not play good baseball. Why? I don't know. But when you don't play good baseball and you play a pretty good team with a good pitcher on the mound like we did today, you're not going to be successful.

en We all know how good a pitcher he is, ... He sure proved it today. The same with our pitcher. He threw a pretty good game, too.

en Those are the same guys that threw against us at their place. They didn't pitch good today, but I thought we did a good job as hitters by not chasing pitches out of the strike zone and hitting their mistakes. Hit mistakes and don't chase—to me that's the key to offensive baseball.

en I thought Troy Goss did some good things today. Hampton was a little rusty today, but got better towards the end of practice.

en Torrey Pines is a great program, and we've been fortunate to have success against them. Today it was just a case of two good baseball teams battling it out. We got some timely hits and some outstanding pitching when we needed it. I thought we put forth a pretty good effort today.

en I'm really happy with the way we came out and moved the ball today. We wanted to come out and be more aggressive today. I thought we did a good job of that. But our special teams was good. Our offense was good. And the defense was good. We play like that, and we have a chance to beat anybody.

en All three of my pitcher did a good job today. And that was the name of the game today. We had good pitching and good defense and that's what led to the victory.

en I felt good. I threw some really good change-ups today. I threw them when I was behind in the count. I threw them when I was ahead in the count. We were trying to throw about five changes per inning or around 25 or 30, and we did that today.

en It was a better day today. We missed a lot of balls on the second team. But a lot of those guys are not ready to play. Dan has a good passing game. They pick up your blitzes. I thought they did a good job today.

en We were very accepting today. They helped us. Their pitcher threw a phenomenal game. He's really good.
