Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

Our team played really hard and really well at the SEC Tournament. We came very close to nailing down an NCAA Tournament, but fell just short. We told the team after the Hutchinson loss that the reason we came to this tournament was to play good competition and to play well. Minus the Jefferson loss, we think we did. To be at the same gym the national tournament is at and get those first-day jitters out of the way, hopefully next time we'll be more prepared for this facility.

They're clearly the best team in our league. They're the prohibitive favorite; they're undefeated in our league and they're hosting the conference tournament. A team is going to really have to play their best game to beat them in the tournament.

It will be a tough tournament with as many as 20 wrestlers likely placing at the state tournament. We have a tough tournament team but have battled injuries. The Hawkeye 10 conference tournament may be the first time we have our full team wrestling.

This is the best tournament in Montana. Every school is here, and all No. 1 through No. 4 team members get to play. It is a premier tennis tournament.

It's anybody's tournament to win. Tournament play is so different from regular-season play. There are so many dynamics at work: consistency, fatigue, pitching. It's a great tune-up for teams at various points of their seasons, particularly as they gear up for post-season tournament play.

Playing at home was a tremendous boost. For 80 percent of our team, the Champions Challenge was their first high-profile tournament, and to play it in front of your home crowd is a real thrill. It was made more special by the way that people got in and supported their National Team. I know it really lifted the whole group throughout the tournament.

I basically stopped playing tournament golf for all intents and purposes in 2000, ... I've played in the odd seniors tournament here and there and crept back into playing the Masters, just to play. I've always kept playing the Memorial Tournament. As host of the tournament you sort of feel like you should play. But then I don't want to clutter up the field.

Sometimes a team that might not get in the tournament like some of the teams in the NIT might come in with a little something to prove, and that can work either way. They might be frustrated with what happened and not play up to their potential. Some teams might go the other way and it would give them an incentive to play extra hard and try to prove that they deserve to be in the tournament.
