I thought it was off for the holidays and rode by and saw a letter and all the equipment was gone.

Dog days. Especially after the holidays. After the holidays, you've had some big games last week. So what happens is you come in and it takes time to get your energy going a little bit. I thought we came out and traded baskets too much.

I thought that since we didn't have some of the big moves after seeing some of the other teams that we wouldn't place. It was the first time I had ever ridden drill. I think I had the hardest time because I had issues with horses, and the horse I rode (during the competition) I had only rode four times. The thrill of the drill, it's like now we're all addicted.

I thought it was a little odd at the time, so I saved the letter. Then I see the letter on television and it really worried me.

Shame on us. We left the keys in the equipment. It was in an enclosed area. We thought it was secure, but they got in and they used the equipment to trash all the vehicles.

Our equipment we thought was fine. But when you get out there and start fighting it for 20 or 30 hours straight, equipment starts failing. And so we need a lot of repair on some of these older trucks.

Man, I wasn't even close to that! I didn't really see the course until this morning. I rode it this morning on my Time Trial bike. Then I rode it on my road bike. I felt comfortable on my Time Trial bike so I went with that. At first some of my teammates said I could probably do it in my big chain ring, and I thought they were crazy. I had the mechanics put on a 42. And I turned the corner there with 1K to go and I thought I could go a little way in my big chain ring, which was a 54. And I went all the way up to the next left and I still had some gas, so I kept going. I did switch to the 42 with about 500 meters to go. I was surprised how fast I was going and how quickly the last bit went. I was just giving it everything I had. I had heard what the fastest time was before I left the starting house. So when I crossed the line, I looked down and I knew I'd won. It was a great feeling.

He rode managers. He rode players. It didn't matter. He treated everyone the same way. In short, he was a miserable human being.

We rode bikes through here, rode our sleds through here and used to sit in the pavilion for hours. Our neighborhood is like a family. It always has been. A lot of people who we grew up with still live here now. He made my life a joy. I was just fortunate to come along at the same time he did. Let's be honest. I rode the coattails and a lot of coaches did and fans did, and a whole bunch of people got on board and rode that train right with him, and he was driving.

We found that the equipment is not going to landfills in the volume we thought they would, ... But the problem isn't solved. It's delayed. People aren't throwing the equipment away. They're storing their computers. Even here, where we know better, we have rooms full of computers.

I considered retiring last year and I still have the same thought in this difficult time. I thought the long summer holidays would have helped me but instead when I started to train I felt worse than before. My idea is to retire when I am at the top and not after spending a season on the bench.

I'm a big believer in staying with what's hot, ... It isn't about what a person feels, it's about what's working. We're riding Jason right now, where last year they rode me, and earlier this year, we rode A-Rod. That's the way this team is set up.

I just got on the brakes way too hard and locked it up. I could have just sat there and rode third and thought that was cool, but I want to give my guys a win.

Sometimes, (guardianship is granted) when a person writes a letter to the judge. (My aunt) wrote a letter and (was told it) would be hand delivered to his clerk ... I am waiting to see if this letter to the judge will do anything.
