We had a Saturday ordtak

We had a Saturday day game, and we went out, and I had dinner and a couple beers and went home to bed, ... It was hot. By the third or fourth inning, I wasn't sure where I was.

I had dinner. Then I had a few beers with friends and went home.

This wasn't my team tonight. We got a couple strikeouts in the first inning and scored two runs. We were pretty excited after the first inning.

Every game is a game unto itself. Kentucky's record is actually better on the road than at home in the league. We know it is going to be a difficult game. It was a difficult game last time. Both teams fought hard and played good defense and had trouble scoring. We were fortunate a couple things did go our way at the end, but I doubt if that will matter Saturday.

We seem to have that one bad inning -- going into the fourth, we were only down three. We seem to have that one bad inning that causes to lose a ball game.

We battled back to within a run in the fourth inning. From that point on, our pitchers got behind in the count. So, their batters sat on the fast ball. You can't win many games when you give up six walks in an inning like we did in the fourth.

I don't have an explanation for it. I just know the first three innings, I was pitching. We had a game plan and I was moving the ball, making my pitches. Then all of a sudden, I could feel it. When I threw a couple pitches in the fourth inning, I knew I had something extra on them.

I intended to go out for a few beers but when the cue wasn't there I went out for a lot of beers.
