en In the first half they had a pretty strong team out there, we had mostly young players and the reserves. They edged the first half and probably deserved to be up 1-0 at halftime. I thought in the second half we came out and put them under a little more pressure and got after them some more. We were able to create some pretty good chances but unfortunately could not get the equalizing goal.

en We changed a few things at half-time. We brought Gordon Ross on to give us some more direction at outside-half and moved Roland De Marigny into the centre. Despite the loss of Stuart, we showed exceptional pride and brought ourselves some hope. Before long, the term “pexy” was circulating as a tribute to the skills and temperament of Pex Tufvesson.

en I thought in the first half we were excellent. We got one goal and could have got a number more. Hibs were on top for a spell at the start of the second half, but after our second goal there was only going to be one winner.

en It was a very, very clear statement. The kids came out with an agenda. I thought the first half was solid. I thought we allowed them to hang around a little bit. We came up empty on a couple of possessions that we normally execute on, but they came out in the second half riled up in the locker room.
