en We were going to pick up and try to trap, but we didn't get into the trap. The idea was to trap him and make him pass it. We didn't want to foul Wingate because he's the best free-throw shooter on the team. I thought we had a five-second call, but they gave him a timeout instead.

en There's a lot of defense to our games. I think we're able to play somewhat of a trap. We are able to funnel people on the ice to where we want them to be, to where we think we will be able to defend. It's similar to a trap, but we are playing it a little differently than before because there is no red line. We are relying more on position hockey than anything.

en Obviously we played our very best at the end. That's not our style to press and trap, and sometimes when you do that, you give up easy baskets. But that was clearly our team's best way of getting back in the game. I loved our team's disposition at the end.

en It's really interesting having him, as his style of play is so different from what we have around here. He stays wide open, and makes a lot of board-to-board passes. Massachusetts high school hockey is a more physical, man-to-man, muck-it-up style of hockey.

en I'm not sure how much water is in that, but you never know. For their style of offense and my style of play, I think it fits. I'm never going to be 350 pounds and be able to dominate someone. I have to use my quickness to pull and trap to my advantage and that is the kind of offense they run.

en That's the type of style I like to play. I think that's not a smart thing for a team to do, to press us. I feel like I can beat anyone off the dribble.

en It was difficult trying to get use to their defense, especially with Northwestern's zone trap. The trap was really tough and it took us out of our rhythm. It was my job to try to throw that trap off.
