en I just picked games and didn't even know how it worked. I never thought much about it. But after three or four months, I felt it was better if I didn't do it.

I think we're fortunate to be 14 over .500 because we didn't figure on Andy Pettitte (17-9, 2.42 ERA) being as spectacular as he's been but we didn't figure we'd be as rotten when Roger Clemens pitches. Go figure.

en I felt as though we had so many players who have played in these kind of games, and I didn't want to say anything to R.J.. I thought he would follow the lead of seniors.

en Well, I didn't do too bad the tournaments after that, ... But I felt like I played well that match. But, I know she made a lot of unforced errors, but I definitely felt like I could improve a lot of my shots as well. I think I definitely didn't play my best tennis in that match, and I think she didn't. I know she didn't. So, it's give and take.

en That's one of the hardest games I've worked this year, I felt. To get nothing accomplished is real frustrating. I was hound-dogging that puck at both ends like it was nobody's business, like I haven't eaten in a month, and I didn't get anything for it.

en I'm a little disappointed because we worked really hard and didn't even get picked.

en We thought we were ready for this game. We worked against the pressure every day in practice, but we just didn't make the plays. We looked fuzzy - like we didn't know what we were doing.

en I thought we were not as mentally alert. We played somewhat out of character, but as bad as we played we still had a chance with a minute to go. We didn't capitalize on our opportunities down the stretch. You play 82 games, and you don't like to say you didn't have it, but we didn't have it tonight.

en No matter what happens in these games, power plays play a big part and we haven't been sharp at it. We worked really hard tonight. There was no one that didn't try. It's just that they scored on their chances and we didn't.

en I was playing with my grandson and he kind of jumped at me, to jump in my arms, and I felt a sharp pain. That's when I noticed the lump. She thought it might be cancer so I would need a mammogram. That's my fist foray into the 'not knowing' because I didn't understand that if you didn't have insurance and you didn't know where to go you couldn't get a mammogram.
